The Oklahoma Principals' Academy, is under the umbrella of the Educators' Leadership Academy. It was conceived by businessman Charles Hollar and offers a solution to the development gap that exists for so many school officials. Principals' Academy gives you a chance to step back and, in the company of peers, reflect upon your role and responsibilities from a fresh perspective. In essence, Principals' Academy is about redefining leadership - the role, the expectations and the outcomes. It is a reaffirmation that you are not alone in facing the multiple challenges of change.

You will examine the environments, both the tranquil and chaotic, in which you actually lead and come to terms with conflict as an inevitable and significant dimension of the reality of leadership. Most significantly, you'll redefine what leadership means for you.
